Learning practically......

 

                                               For 6th standard I taught the science chapter Getting to know plants. In this session first students learned about the different types of plants like herbs, shrubs, trees and creepers.  After that they distinguish between the types of plants and gave examples for each. I taught about parts of the plants and their work by showing practically. Students shows the lot of interest. I taught the venation of leaves by showing some leaves and by showing the video also. They collected more leaves and identified the leaf venation. They also told type of root by watching the leaf venation. I explained the parts of the flowers by taking the hibiscus flower. They understood well. After that I gave one flower to them to identify the parts of flowers. They were very curious to find the ovary in Hibiscus flower. They tried at their home also.  All the students learned the concept practically. This helps them to understand easily. All students enjoyed the learning.

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry The students of 5th standard participated in a creative classroom activity based on the poem “The Paper Boat” written by Rabindranath Tagore. To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.

                                                              I-n-t-e-r-a-c-t-i-o-n🗣️                                Today Our mentor Manjunath VT sir visited my class with interns and he did an common interaction with all students of my 6th class where all students felt happy by seeing the sir and they are waiting for Manjunath sir for his presence . Interns also enjoyed the interaction of Manjunath sir and he gave star to the students who told correct answer to all the questions that he asked . they enjoyed the learnings that they gave. It was very nice experience with the students and the interns.

School function

  On 06/01/2025, a grand Friendship Meet for the 7th standard students was organized in our school with great enthusiasm. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of the Head of Tata Hitachi and Dr. Sharath Airani Sir, CEO of Vidyaposhak Institution, as the chief guests. They motivated the students with their inspiring words and valuable guidance. Their presence made the event more meaningful and memorable, and their support greatly contributed to the overall success of the program.
