From a Government School to the National Stage

It was a moment of immense pride and joy for our school to take our selected student, Basanagouda Patil, to Bengaluru for the Raman Award final competition. He participated in the event with great happiness, confidence, and enthusiasm, actively involving himself in every activity conducted there. From the 6th to the 9th, he stayed with us continuously and represented our school at the national level with dedication and excitement. Seeing a student from a government school receive such encouragement, exposure, and recognition is truly inspiring and fills our hearts with pride. This journey not only boosted his confidence but also proved that with the right support, government school students can achieve great heights.

Family tree....

Under Community Development Project , a session on Family was conducted. The class began with students sharing the name of their favorite person in their family. Later, students wrote about their families in a unique and creative way. Each student then explained their family in front of the class. During this activity, many students became emotional while sharing their feelings, which showed their deep attachment and love for their families. At that moment, the importance of family values, love, care, and support was explained to the students. The session helped students understand the emotional strength of family and encouraged them to respect and value their family members.

Avoid plastic

Under the Sachetana Program , an initiative of the Government of Karnataka , 5th class students actively participated in an awareness program. The students performed a meaningful presentation on the topic “Avoid Plastic and Create Awareness on Plastic Pollution.” Through songs and group performance, they explained the harmful effects of plastic on the environment, animals, and human health. The program helped students understand the importance of reducing plastic usage and encouraged the audience to adopt eco-friendly alternatives. The performance was informative, confident, and well appreciated by teachers and students.      Students performed very well. All students know about plastic pollution and understand we cannot use plastic in future days.  Thank you....

I am a Teacher....

Under the Community Development Project, a session on Magic Words was conducted. The students understood the concept very well and actively participated in the session. They read the magic words such as sorry, please, excuse me , and thank you one by one with correct pronunciation. Students also shared real-life situations where they use these words in their daily lives, like at home, in school, and with friends. The activity helped students realize the importance of polite language and good manners, and it encouraged them to practice these magic words regularly in their behaviours.   Students did one skit on this topics. That skit includes all Magic words. They felt very happy and other students understand the concept very well. Students learned so many things in this class. I feel that. Thank you

Best out of Waste

Waste Out of Best Waste Out of Best is an effective concept that teaches students how waste materials can be reused creatively instead of being thrown away. It helps learners understand the importance of recycling, reusing, and reducing waste to protect our environment. By turning waste into useful or decorative items, students learn that waste is not useless but a valuable resource. In my class, I introduced the Waste Out of Best activity using everyday discarded materials such as paper, plastic bottles, cardboard, and cloth pieces. This hands-on activity built curiosity and creativity among students. They actively participated, shared ideas, and understood the concept of waste management in a practical and enjoyable way. Through this activity, students not only learned about environmental responsibility but also developed creativity and problem-solving skills.

Our Solar System: endless wonders around one Sun.

Our solar system is a fascinating cosmic family centered around a powerful star—the Sun. It consists of eight planets, their moons, asteroids, comets, and other celestial bodies, all held together by the Sun’s strong gravitational force. Though it may appear calm from afar, the solar system is full of movement, energy, and mystery. In my classroom, I explored the solar system topic using balloons as a teaching aid. This activity helped build curiosity among the students and made the concept more engaging and easy to understand. Through hands-on learning, students actively participated and gained a clear understanding of the solar system in an enjoyable way. The solar system teaches us about balance, motion, and harmony in nature. Studying it not only increases our scientific knowledge but also inspires curiosity and wonder about the vast universe we are a part of. Truly, our solar system is filled with endless wonders revolving around one magnificent Sun.

Appreciation...

Classroom Activity – Dictation and Appreciation:     I conducted a dictation activity to help students improve their listening, spelling, and writing skills. Before starting, a challenge was given to write the passage without making any mistakes, and students were informed that prizes would be given for perfect work. All students participated with great interest and concentration. After evaluation, three students scored full marks in the dictation. I  appreciated their effort and rewarded them with prizes. This appreciation motivated the other students to improve their handwriting, accuracy, and confidence in writing.
