VP - Yuva Fellows

 I feel happy to take the opportunity to thank Vidyaposhak because of giving me the chance to take the classes of 10th std students and today is the last day of classes and students are active in the all the classes and they ask the doubts without hesitation and through this journey I also learned alot like preparing well for the classes and students are little bit sad because it's my last day of them ☺️☺️

 Today i conduct the sharing circle for the 10th students .In that class students shared their learnings and asking doubts also. with out any hesitation they solve the problems on the board. All students are active in the class. Sharing circle is necessary because in this sharing circle students share their learning openly and they asked their doubts with out any hesitation.

 Teaching is one of the great profession that creates all professions in the world. Teachers plays an important role in every student life. Because the success of the learners can be determine by role of an instructor or teacher. Teachers can create or bring happiness, enjoyment , interest and curious in the classroom by their presence or teaching method. Teachers activeness, effective teaching method, building curiosity , way of teaching , their knowledge , body language all will have the power to bring changes in mind.  Specially for math subject  teacher should create interest, connect the topic to the real life, have patience to convey the topic and need to be perfect in math. Mainly being a math teacher, teacher should have interest in math subject and their teaching should be commendable  because a little knowledge will not make his /her trust among the students. Specially math teacher should have positive attitude towards their subject because it will direct influences the learn

 It is very necessary to  do practice and preparation before celebrating our success. If we want to become a successful person we need to work hard , practice more. For my students also I gave them more space to practice their learning so that they will become more perfect in all subject. Our practice is like a constant light , it illuminated our mood , feelings , body and mind state. Also it makes us ware of ups and downs in our life. If we want to improve our performance , skills and knowledge we need to practice more  then we will become efficient learner. For my students I always suggested that if we want to become perfect in any work ,skill or knowledge we need to practice more . I concentrate on every student present in the classroom and I will make involve them in problem solving, answering etc so that they will try to think ,practice and they will become perfect.

😊 My fellowship journey I am Sushma working as a fellow teacher at Vidya poshak.          I am here to share the things which learnt after joining this Yuva fellowship programme.  When I joined as a fellow teacher at the beginning, I faced difficulty in handling the students. Now, I am able to handle each of the student by creating teaching atmosphere . Apart from teaching, I told the students about cleanliness, how to behave with others and tried to improve their learning skills. Earlier when I joined the programme, I am not confident in my verbal communication and felt nervous many a times. Now I used to prepare well for the class and teach the students making them understood the things. Interactive sessions with programme manager and facilitators taught me how to interact with the students by controlling our emotions. After the complition of my degreeI searched many jobs & then I applied for the yuvafellowship. firstly I used to teach in home tuition classes where I teach Maths & scince in a bookish launguage but after the joing this fellowship I am teaching Maths & Science by connecting to a real life situations & I feel happy because students response was good. Starting my student's behaviour was not good so I made the vision for it & they always fear the maths & Science subject but after the showing the videos , telling the maths in story manner they start enjoying the classes. Firstly students are not active for extra curicular activities &they star invoeving the classes. they feel happy to  do something

  I am Shobha .I am a fellow teacher at Vidya Poshak .being a fellow it's great experience be with children and learn from them .beginning of the fellowship it was bit difficult for me to manage classroom and create a lesson plan and also how to behave with students and how to handle them. Now i look back it has been a amazing journey .It as transformed me and also my students. When i started teaching this kids their behavior was not managed well. classroom environment was not good .Gradually i made vision for my classroom and class rules  then now students transformed themselves now they have become leaders and they initiate the activity. Students were had fear about math subject and for teacher also they were just folding their hands and standing in front of a teacher. now they are engaging and our classroom is based on student teacher engagement and also students interaction is more in my classroom. all students actively participating in all activities.   MY EXPERINCE IN VIDYA POSHAK YUVA FELLOWSHIP  My name is Madhura . I am working at Vidya Poshak as a Fellow teacher. Now I am teaching science and math for 7th students .Before applying for the Fellowship I took tuition classes in my home for 7th ,8th and 10th students.  I am very much interested about teaching so I applied for the Fellowship.   In the starting of the Fellowship , before the institution I thought that it is easy to teach rural students . But when I attend the trainings in institution I learnt lot of things like how to teach rural students , how to handle them, important teaching techniques  and also how to build a good relationship with stakeholders . Day by day I learnt lot of things.  Firstly when I visited my school, I came to know that I need to change my student's behavior and attitude and very importantly I need to teach discipline first. so I taught discipline in them by making class rules, explaining them good thoughts in every morning. Mathematics is the main part of our daily life. We math in our life from morning to night. For example at what time we woked up , how many of chapati I ate etc. So we use math in our every minutes of our life. It became a big part of our life.  By learning math students can build critical thinking and their mind become more sharper by solving more math problems. Math helps us to think critically and open up our mind to the new world. Also it will builds problem solving ability and even an effective communication skill. Mathematics is the one which crates all.   

                                                  SCIENCE EXPIRIMENT CLASS  Today I took experiment the experiment name was checking ph. level in acid and base items students will checked the ph. level of acid and base items also they know about the in which color shows acid and base quality, also students bought the orange, and lemon, and copy powder they will checked their ph. level and told me to the value also this class was observed by our head madam she told me to your practical teaching was really good and keep it up also you involved each and every student in class so i felt happy for this   

                                                                                                  TUITION CLASS FOR SSLC STUDENTS                                 I took English and science class for 10 standard students in that I taught them to in English class I teach them to poems with summery and author introduction and more students are shows interest while we told about the poem story also they will ask the questions and share their opinion also in class they will told some jokes it makes them happy also class was going good and 20  to 25 students are attending the class also                                        

In mathematic class i taught them about the construction of line segment all students did the problems on the board and all students are understanding the concept .some students asked their doubts and i clarify their doubts. From the independent practice students learn more .it provides an opportunity for students to practice the skills or concepts from the lesson .Its purpose is to increase student's fluency ,enabling for a more automatic recall of the skills that have been learnt in the class.  

I took English class for the 10th students in that class i taught them about the parts of speech .All students give more examples. They understand the concept. All students are active in the class. It was a interactive class . Students response was good so i feel very happy for that.

From April 12 we are taking summer tuition classes for 10th students.  It was a good program to improve basic knowledge of the students . SSLC is the main stage in every student's life. So here students should focus on their studies also teachers should give  more support for them then only they can achieve something.   On this year some taluk of dharwad were selected for Summer vacation classes. Our BEO Umesh bommakkanavar sir planned for this new program and our Vidya Poshak gave support for this program.   Now we are taking classes for govt high school children. On first day our school HM , school staff and BEO sir made Inauguration for this program.  Here they welcomed us with their speech also they thanked and appreciated our NGO . His speech made us more exciting and active. Also they requested students to take this advantage and make it more useful.    I started my summer tuition classes with high energy and new expectations. On April 14 , we celebrated 131st birth anniversary of Dr.B.R . Ambedkar . On April 14th, our Co teachers,  HM and few students were participated in the the celebration.  It was a great pleasure and proud for us to be an Indian by our heroes . Bhimrao ramji ambekar popularly known as Dr. Babasaheb ambedkar was an indian jurist, economics ,politician and social reformer. He inspired the Dalit Buddist Movement and campaigned against untouchables and also supported rights of women and labour. He was independent India's first law minister, the principal architect of the  Constitution of India  and a founding father of the  Republic of India . Ambedkar Jayanti  (Ambedkar's birthday) is an annual festival celebrated on 14 April, which is celebrated not only in India but all over the world.  Teaching is an art. A new beginning for the next journey started.Now we are teaching to the 10th students teaching is same for both primary and high school students but here the method of teaching will be different and also our approach to the student will be different this journey will give more learning and this learning will be very helpful in my teaching career. And one more thing this is an very huge responsibility because SSLC is the first public exam which is attended by the student so we need to enrich our students with the good and best form of education.😊
