  1. What will I gain by doing the Yuva Internship?

    1. You will gain the necessary Knowledge and skills to become an Excellent teacher

    2. Get exposure to the education ecosystem and ground reality

    3. You will get the opportunity to continue your Fellowship with Vidya Poshak


  1. Who can apply?

Young graduates (between 21 and 26 years old) who are willing to commit to full-time as interns for  rural school children 

  1. I have given my final year exams and the results have not yet come, still, can I still apply?

    1. Yes, You can apply if you have attended final semester exams 


  1. I completed my higher education/ PG, can I apply?

    1. Sure, If you are passionate about teaching and want to be a change leader and role model in the community


  1. Where will I be placed if I get selected?

    1. Dharwad, Karnataka and teaching will be in and around Dharwad village schools


  1. Can other district candidates apply?

    1. Yes, candidates from all over Karnataka who are fluent in Kannada and English can apply.


  1. Will I be paid during the Yuva Internship?

    1. Yes, you will get Rs.10000 as a monthly stipend and Rs.1000 for travel expenses


  1. Will I be trained for the Yuva Internship Teacher role?

    1. You will undergo one-week training in pedagogy, systemic teaching skills and classroom management. Exposure to other potential educators/education entrepreneurs in the ecosystem will also be offered.

    2. Continuous on-job training will be provided to enable you to become an excellent teacher


  1. What is the duration of the Yuva Internship?

    1. It is a six-month full-time commitment

    2. From December 2023 - May 2024.

  2. Can I get a certificate for Yuva Internship?

    1. You will get an experience letter and appreciation certificate from Vidya Poshak


  1. Is work experience mandatory?

    1. No, any volunteer experience or teaching experience is preferable (Tuition class experience also will count)


  1. What opportunity will be available to me after completion of Yuva Internship?

    1. The role starts as an Intern Teacher but has a possibility of converting into an excellent Fellow teacher in Vidya Poshak Yuva Fellowship. You can become a Teacher, Teacher trainer, Curriculum designer, Program manager and many other roles in the education sector.


  1. How can I apply for a Yuva Internship?

    1. Visit www.vidyaposhak.net 


  1. What is the Deadline for submitting the application?

    1. The Final Deadline for accepting applications is November 5th, 2023. The outcome will be communicated to you within 1 week.


  1. Schools have already started, if I get selected how can I teach children in the middle of the year?

    1. The selection process will be done by November mid. One week of full-time training will be given to you. After that, we will place you to the school as you will train students on competitive exams.


  1. What is the selection process?

    1. Once we shortlist the application we will inform you in detail. 

    2. The next round will be Writing skills & Teaching Skill

    3. The final round of interviews will be held in Dharwad


  1. What are all the skills needed for the Yuva Internship?

    1. Communication skill, Presentation skills, Basic computer skills, research and design skills


  1. What and whom will I be teaching?

    1. You will be teaching Mental ability, Maths & English to rural Kannada medium lower primary school students


  1. What are all the documents needed to submit along with the application?

    1. You have to upload an updated CV along with the application


  1. Can I send an application written copy by post?

    1. Only online applications will be considered

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry The students of 5th standard participated in a creative classroom activity based on the poem “The Paper Boat” written by Rabindranath Tagore. To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. Parents meeting

               A parents’ meeting was organized by the Vidya Poshak organization. Many parents participated in the meeting. During the meeting, parents discussed their children’s handwriting, academic progress, and learning levels with the school teachers. The objectives and activities of the Vidya Poshak organization were clearly explained by the organization’s teacher, Ms. Aishwarya. All the parents extended their cooperation and support, which helped in successfully completing the parents’ meeting.
