Artivism for Nature

On Friday we took Slam Out Loud Artivism for nature session for 4th , 6th and 7th students . Here students drew trees by using sketches , pencil and colors . Also by using dry leaves , color leaves and peanut shell they drew colorful drawings of trees. Through this session we taught them the importance of trees . Our children made promise about saving the trees. So that in their future they will care for the environment and also love their surroundings .

Through the session I came to know about my children's drawing arts . Also it will encourage our children to participate in all competitions and build confidence in them . We can easily involve them by conducting this type of sessions we can find out our children's talent .

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry The students of 5th standard participated in a creative classroom activity based on the poem “The Paper Boat” written by Rabindranath Tagore. To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning.
