😊Learning Against the Odds: Stories of Ashok and Kushal😊

Last week, I spent time with two 3rd class students, Ashok and Kushal, who are studying at GHPS Lokur School.

First, I spoke with Ashok. I found that he lives with his grandparents, as his parents reside on the other side of the village. He comes from a poor family background and has limited resources. Despite these challenges and living away from his parents, Ashok is highly motivated and hardworking. With the consistent support of his grandparents, encouragement from teachers, and his own dedication, he continues to make progress in his learning.

Later, I interacted with Kushal. He also comes from a poor family and faces various challenges. He is currently struggling due to a lack of home support and learning difficulties.

From my interactions with both students, I observed that they face similar challenges in their learning journey. However, with the right support and guidance, they have the potential to overcome these obstacles and succeed in their education.

Thank you.

To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.
