Celebrating the New Year with  Joy and Smiles at GHPS Lokur

On 1st January 2026, our school, GHPS Lokur, was filled with vibrant colors and cheerful faces as we celebrated the New Year together. All of our students came dressed in beautiful, colorful outfits, which made the school look lively and festive. Seeing their bright smiles and excitement instantly filled me with happiness.

The atmosphere was full of joy and enthusiasm as the students exchanged New Year wishes with each other and shared chocolates. It was heartwarming to receive their thoughtful wishes and treats, and it gave me a wonderful, new experience as a teacher. Celebrating the New Year with my students for the first time in this school made the day even more special.

We captured the moment with a group photo — my first photo of the year — surrounded by the happy faces of my students. Looking at that picture, I felt a deep sense of joy and gratitude. Moments like these create beautiful memories that I will cherish forever.

This celebration was more than just fun; it strengthened our bond as a class and reminded me how meaningful it is to share happiness with others. The laughter, the colorful dresses, the chocolates, and the New Year wishes together made this day truly unforgettable. I look forward to creating many more happy memories with my students throughout the year.

Thank  you.

He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.
