Today’s mathematics class with my 5th grade students was a very interesting learning experience for both the students and me. I was teaching the topic of square numbers. When I started the lesson, I realized that many students did not know what square numbers or square roots were. This made me understand that I needed to explain the concept in a very simple and clear way.
First, I began by asking the students some basic questions about numbers. Then I slowly introduced the idea of square numbers by giving small examples like 2 × 2 = 4 and 3 × 3 = 9. I explained that when a number is multiplied by itself, the result is called a square number.
At the beginning, the students were confused, but when I used examples and simple explanations, they started to understand the concept. Some students even tried to find other square numbers on their own. Seeing their curiosity and excitement made me very happy as a teacher.
This class reminded me that every child learns at a different pace, and it is our responsibility as teachers to guide them patiently. Teaching is not only about completing the syllabus but also about making sure students truly understand the concept.
Overall, today’s class was a meaningful learning experience. I look forward to helping my students explore more interesting topics in mathematics

Nice learning😊
