“A Day of Minds, Moves, and Mindfulness”

“A Day of Minds, Moves, and Mindfulness”

The day began with a calm and purposeful start as I arrived at school, ready to engage the students in a series of fun and meaningful activities. The atmosphere quickly filled with energy as we began with lively energizer games like the “Circle Out” game and the

“Ball Balance” activity. The students participated with great enthusiasm, laughing and encouraging one another.

Building on that energy, we moved into a few mental activities that challenged their thinking and focus. The students showed curiosity and eagerness to learn, making the session both interactive and enjoyable.

A special highlight of the day was introducing chess to the students. Many of them explored the game with excitement, carefully planning their moves and learning new strategies. Joining them in a game after a long time was a refreshing and memorable experience for me as well.

As the day continued, we shifted our focus to physical and mental well-being through warm-up exercises, followed by an introduction to yoga and its importance in daily life. With guidance from Rahul Sir, the students practiced simple yoga postures and pranayama, creating a peaceful and focused environment.

To end the activities on a sweet note, chocolates were distributed, bringing smiles to every face. Later, the day concluded with a thoughtful meeting where we discussed preparations for the final day of the camp and the celebration of Basava Jayanti.
