Today was an exciting and activity-filled day at our summer camp. I reached the school at 8:00 AM, and all the students had already arrived, ready with enthusiasm. We began the day with the morning prayer, which created a calm and positive start.
Right after the prayer, we conducted a fun and energetic activity called “Doctor Doctor Help Me.” The students participated with great excitement, and the activity filled the space with laughter and energy. It was a perfect way to warm up for the day.
Later, we moved to the classroom for a science-based session. Today’s focus was on understanding series circuits and parallel circuits. Instead of just explaining, we made it a hands-on learning experience. Students created models like traffic lights and doorbells using simple paper materials. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn were clearly visible.
Some groups successfully built working circuit models, which was a proud and exciting moment for them. We also experimented with sound effects using a battery, making the session even more interesting. Students explored using aluminium tape, pins, and LED lights to complete their circuits. They were fully involved—trying, testing, and learning through experience.
After the activity, I asked a few questions to check their understanding. Many students responded confidently, showing that they had grasped the concepts well. It was truly an engaging and practical learning session.
After lunch, we continued with fun outdoor games. The students played “Uppu Uppu Amani Cup,” and their excitement and joy made the playground lively and cheerful.
Overall, today’s camp was a wonderful combination of learning and fun. The students not only understood scientific concepts but also enjoyed the process of creating and experimenting. Their active participation and happiness made the day memorable for everyone.
