A Wonderful Day at Camp – Learning, Culture, and Fun
Today was a beautiful and enriching day at our school camp. I reached the school at 7:45 AM, filled with excitement and enthusiasm. A total of 27 students attended the camp, making it a lively and energetic gathering.
We began the day by welcoming the students and introducing them to the plan for the camp. The session started on a positive note with a prayer song, followed by an energizer game, which helped everyone feel active and engaged.
One of the highlights of the day was learning about the special features of Lokur village. Adding more value to this session, our SDMS members visited the camp and shared insights into the history of Lokur village. It was truly an informative and meaningful experience for both me and the students.
After this, we moved on to various interactive activities, where students showed great enthusiasm and participation. Their involvement was impressive, and it was wonderful to see their interest and teamwork.
I also introduced the students to different types of local traditions, helping them understand the importance of preserving our culture. We specifically discussed Kolata, its significance, and its role in our traditions, which the students found very interesting.
Another engaging part of the session was when some students shared riddles. This activity encouraged critical thinking and creativity. I was happy to see the students' thinking skills and confidence growing during this session.
Overall, today’s camp was a memorable and fulfilling experience. The students were highly involved, curious, and eager to learn throughout the day.
Thank you!
