A Joyful Day at Summer Camp: Learning Through Festivals and Creativity
That day was a wonderful and engaging day at our summer camp. I reached the school at 7:50 AM, and we had a total of 23 students attending the camp.
We began the day with a prayer song followed by a fun energizer game. This helped create a positive and lively atmosphere, and the students were full of enthusiasm right from the start. After the warm-up, we moved on to an interesting activity session. The students actively participated and truly enjoyed themselves. Their excitement and involvement made the session more meaningful.
The highlight of the day was our discussion about festivals. I explained the importance and meaning of different festivals, and the students also shared their knowledge and experiences. It was wonderful to see their confidence and interest while speaking.
To make the session more creative, the students drew pictures related to festivals. Their drawings were colorful and imaginative, reflecting their understanding and creativity.
Later, we had a clay modeling activity. The students created beautiful models, especially Lord Ganesha idols, using clay. It was a joyful and hands-on experience for them, and they showed great creativity and effort.
Overall, that day’s camp was a perfect blend of learning and fun. It was a very satisfying and memorable experience for me as well.
Thank you. 😊
