Learn, Play and Grow with Nature
πThe second day of the camp began with a peaceful prayer session, setting a positive and energetic tone for the day. Following this, I organized the students into groups and conducted a fun energizer activity where they mimicked the sounds of animals, birds, and natural elements like the wind. This activity created a lively atmosphere, encouraged participation, and helped students feel more comfortable and engaged.π

Soon after, our respected Headmaster (HM Sir) visited the camp and observed the activities. His presence motivated the students, and they actively showcased their enthusiasm and creativity. The next session involved a nature-based art activity. Students used materials such as leaves, sticks, and flowers to create beautiful and imaginative artworks. This hands-on activity not only enhanced their creativity but also helped them connect with nature and learn to appreciate natural resources.π₯

Following the art session, I introduced the concept of organic fertilizers. I explained their importance, benefits for soil health, and how they support sustainable agriculture. To reinforce their understanding, I showed an informative video related to organic fertilizers, which made the concept clearer and more interesting for the students. After gaining theoretical knowledge, students participated in a practical activity where they planted seeds using soil, compost, coconut shells, and water. Each student enthusiastically took part in the planting process and even named their plants, which created a sense of responsibility and emotional connection toward their growth.π
To make learning more enjoyable, we conducted a “Plant Care Game,” where students learned the basics of nurturing plants in a fun and interactive way. This activity was highly engaging and received great enthusiasm from all participants.
The day concluded with a reflection session where we discussed the key learnings of the day. Students shared their experiences and what they had learned. Finally, I provided instructions and an overview of the plan for the next day, ensuring that students left with clarity and excitement for the upcoming activities.ππ
