Learning Through Nature – Day 2 🥬🍏
The second day of the summer camp began on a peaceful note with a prayer, setting a calm and positive tone for the day. After the prayer, I divided the students into groups and conducted a fun energizer activity where they imitated the sounds of animals, birds, and even the wind. The students thoroughly enjoyed this activity and participated with great enthusiasm.
Next, the students took part in a creative activity where they made beautiful artwork using natural materials such as leaves, sticks, and flowers. It was wonderful to see their creativity and eagerness to learn through nature.

Following this, I introduced the concept of organic fertilizer (compost). I explained its importance and showed them a video to help them understand the process better. The students showed great interest and understood how natural methods help in healthy plant growth. the students participated in a planting activity using soil, compost, seeds, coconut shells, and water. They happily named their plants, which made the activity more personal and meaningful. Their excitement and involvement were truly heartwarming.
We also played a “Plant Care Game,” which was both fun and educational. Through this game, students learned how to take care of plants in an enjoyable way.At the end of the session, we discussed the key learnings of the day and shared instructions for the next day’s activities. We also captured a beautiful group photo to preserve the joyful memories. The students showed excellent involvement and active participation throughout the day, making it successful and enjoyable. I also received a daily call from our HM, who showed care and concern for both me and the students, which was very encouraging and motivating. Overall, it was a meaningful and happy day filled with learning, creativity, and fun.
Thank you
