Day 3 – Summer Camp
Theme: Our Village and Village Celebration
Today’s activities were based on understanding our village and its traditions. All the students visited a nearby temple as part of the learning experience. During the visit, they learned about the importance of temples, local customs, and cultural practices followed in the village.
After the visit, students were introduced to our traditional cultural arts like Kolata, Dollu Kunita, and Sobana Pada. They learned about their importance and how these art forms are part of village celebrations and festivals.
The students actively participated in Kolata dance and enjoyed it very much. It created a joyful and energetic atmosphere, making the activity both fun and educational.
The visit felt like a small trip for them, and they were very happy throughout the day.
