A Beautiful Beginning: First Day of Camp

Today was a truly memorable and joyful day as I attended school at 10 o’clock for the first day of our camp. A total of 25 enthusiastic students participated, and the entire experience turned out to be very meaningful and heartwarming.

We began the day by warmly welcoming all the students to the camp. The session started with a peaceful prayer song, followed by our class motto song, which filled the environment with positivity and unity. To energize the students, we conducted a fun energizer activity, and it was wonderful to see how much the children enjoyed it.

After taking attendance, I introduced the students to the plan for the 10-day camp. We then moved into an engaging discussion on an important topic: “What happens if birds don’t get water?” The students actively participated and shared thoughtful ideas, showing great involvement and awareness.

To make the session more interactive, I asked questions related to birds, and the students responded very well. One of the highlights was when the students narrated the classic story of The Thirsty Crow, which added a creative touch to the learning experience.

After the session, we had breakfast together, which gave everyone a refreshing break. Later, the students performed a role play where they acted as birds asking people for water. Their performance was truly excellent and showcased their creativity and understanding of the topic.

The most special activity of the day was Making Water Bowls for Birds. Through this activity, students not only enjoyed themselves but also learned the importance of kindness towards animals and environmental responsibility.

Overall, today’s experience was very successful and fulfilling. I felt extremely happy and proud to see my students’ active participation, interest, and enthusiasm throughout the day.

Looking forward to many more such beautiful moments in the coming days of the camp.

Thank you! 🌸
