Lighting the Torch for a Drug-Free India

Creating awareness among young minds is one of the most effective ways to build a healthier society. With this vision, our school organized a Drug-Free India Awareness Programme to educate students about the harmful effects of addiction and inspire them to lead healthy, responsible lives.

The programme began with an inspiring message highlighting the importance of staying away from tobacco, alcohol, and other addictive substances. Teachers explained how addiction can affect a person's physical health, mental well-being, family, and future. Students listened with great interest and actively participated in the awareness session.

As a symbol of hope and commitment, a torch was carried during the programme to represent the collective pledge towards a drug-free India. Students enthusiastically joined the awareness rally, raised meaningful slogans, and encouraged the community to say no to addiction and yes to a healthy lifestyle.

The event concluded with a pledge in which everyone promised to stay away from harmful substances and spread awareness among their families and friends. The programme successfully instilled a sense of responsibility, self-discipline, and social commitment in the students, making it a memorable and meaningful initiative towards building a healthier and stronger nation.
