Beyond Teamwork: Building Knowledge Through Individual Quiz Competition

As part of our vacation classes, we organized a quiz competition to help students strengthen their knowledge and refresh what they had learned earlier. Usually, we conduct quiz competitions in groups, where students work together, share ideas, and find answers as a team. However, this time, we decided to try something different by conducting the quiz individually. We wanted every student to participate independently, recall their previous learning, and answer questions using their own understanding. This approach gave each student an opportunity to reflect on their learning and recognize how much they had remembered.

The main motto behind this activity was not just to test students' knowledge but also to help them identify the areas where they needed improvement. Through this individual quiz, students could understand their strengths, recognize their learning gaps, and know which topics required more attention and practice. It also encouraged them to think independently, build confidence, and take responsibility for their own learning. Such activities remind us that education is not only about teaching lessons but also about ensuring that students understand, remember, and apply what they have learned. Our goal is to help every student learn better, grow with confidence, and move forward with a stronger understanding of every lesson. The individual quiz competition during our vacation classes was a meaningful step towards achieving this goal.
