Annual Day Celebration – Leadership Development Program At GHPS Devarahubballi, the Leadership Development Program conducted by Scope NGO has been running successfully for the past one year. The program focuses on developing confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities among students. Recently, Scope NGO organized the Annual Day Function as a part of this program. The event was conducted very beautifully and turned out to be a grand success. Our students actively participated in various activities. They performed a meaningful drama highlighting important values and social messages. Along with this, students also presented wonderful cultural programs such as dance and songs. Their performances were appreciated by everyone. The Annual Day celebration was inspiring and joyful. It showcased the talents and leadership skills developed by the students through the program. We are thankful to Scope NGO for guiding and supporting our students.

Friday’s Learning Circle – From Waste to Wonder GHPS Devarahubballi, this Friday’s Learning Circle was conducted on the theme “From Waste to Wonder.” The main aim of the activity was to teach students the importance of recycling and reusing waste materials. Students brought old newspapers, plastic bottles, cardboard, and other unused items from home. With creativity and teamwork, they transformed these waste materials into beautiful and useful objects. The children made pen stands, flower pots, decorative items, and small models. They were excited to show their creations and explain how they made them. The activity helped students understand the value of reducing waste and protecting the environment. The Learning Circle was both fun and meaningful. It encouraged creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness among students.

CD Session on Body Parts (Junior) At GHPS Devarahubballi, a CD session on Body Parts was conducted for students of Classes 1 to 4. In this session, students learned the names of different body parts such as eyes, ears, nose, hands, and legs. The lesson was taught using pictures, songs, and interactive activities. The children actively participated and were able to identify and pronounce the body parts correctly. The session was both enjoyable and educational. It helped improve students’ understanding, confidence, and interest in learning through fun activities.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಜಂತು ನಿವಾರಣಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ – GHPS Devarahubballi GHPS Devarahubballi ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಜಂತು ನಿವಾರಣಾ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ದಿನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತರಾಯ ಹುಳುಗಳಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು. ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಜಂತು ನಿವಾರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಔಷಧ ಸೇವಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ನೀಡಲಾದ ಜಂತು ನಿವಾರಣಾ ಗೊಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಔಷಧ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮನಗಾಣಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೂ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

 GHPS Mangalagatti Today was a very special and joyful day in our school. We were busy with the preparation for the Annual Day celebration. I did not take regular classes because all the students were practicing for their performances. I practiced dance with my students. . They were very excited and practiced with full energy. I guided them in steps, expressions, and coordination. Watching them dance happily gave me great joy. While practicing with the students, I remembered my own childhood memories. I felt like I was a student again. Those moments brought a smile to my face and filled my heart with happiness. The preparation time created really good memories with my students.   In our school, a special awareness program was organized to educate children about the importance of deworming and maintaining good health. To support this initiative, nurses from the government hospital visited our school and interacted warmly with the students. During the session, the nurses patiently explained what intestinal worms are, how they enter the human body, and the health problems they can cause in children. They also spoke about common symptoms such as stomach pain, weakness, loss of appetite, and poor growth. The nurses emphasized the importance of taking deworming tablets at the right time as advised by health authorities. In addition, the children were educated about personal hygiene practices such as washing hands before meals and after using the toilet, keeping nails clean and short, wearing clean clothes, and drinking safe water. Usually, the fifth-class students write their examinations inside the classroom. However, for the first time, the examination was conducted outside the classroom in an open environment. The students were seated comfortably with proper distance maintained between each student to ensure discipline and fairness. This new arrangement created a different and refreshing atmosphere for the students. Despite it being their first experience of writing an exam outside the classroom, the students adapted very well to the situation.   Today in the STEM lab, I engaged my 7th standard students in an exciting and curiosity-building chemistry experiment — preparing hydrogen gas using dilute hydrochloric acid (HCl) and magnesium ribbon. It was truly a colourful and energetic learning experience for the students. Hydrogen Gas In the lab, students observed the reaction between: Magnesium ribbon (Mg) Dilute Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) When magnesium was added to dilute HCl, bubbles started forming immediately. Students were excited to see the reaction happening live in front of them. To confirm the presence of hydrogen gas, we performed the famous “POP” sound test.

 In a powerful step toward empowering young girls, the Government of School Education has decided to introduce Karate classes for girls’ protection in schools. This initiative is not just about learning martial arts—it is about building confidence, courage, and self-reliance among students. Through regular karate practice, students become physically active and mentally strong. They learn: Basic self-defense moves Blocking and escaping techniques Body balance and coordination Focus and concentration Girls who were once shy slowly start gaining confidence. S-e-m-i-n-r To build confidence and stage courage among my students, I conducted syllabus revision through student seminars in Mathematics. This activity helped them improve subject knowledge, problem-solving skills, and public speaking confidence. One of my 7th-grade students, Kumari Kavya Kori, delivered an excellent seminar on finding the height and base of a triangle using the appropriate formulas and methods. Her clear explanation created curiosity among her classmates and made the session a great success. The seminar was truly a meaningful step toward confident and active learning.

    After teaching Parts of Speech , students expressed their understanding through beautiful drawings. In the picture, the student is proudly showing her work. The drawings represent different parts of speech like nouns, verbs, adjectives, and others through pictures and examples. This activity helped students to learn creatively. By drawing and labeling, they understood the topic better and remembered the concepts easily. It also improved their imagination, presentation skills, and confidence.

       A concave mirror is curved inward. When a candle is placed in front of it, the mirror can form different types of images. If the candle is close, the image appears large and upright. If it is far, the image becomes small and inverted. Concave mirrors are used in torches, headlights, and shaving mirrors.       A convex mirror is curved outward. It always forms a small, upright image. It spreads light over a wide area. Convex mirrors are used as rear-view mirrors in vehicles because they help us see a larger area. Through this experiment, students can understand how light reflects and how different mirrors form different images.

GHPS Mangalagatti Today, I Took our school children from Mangalagatti to KuruBagatti School to participate in the FLN Kalika Habba. It was an exciting and enriching experience for everyone. Our students actively participated in all the events with great and confidence. Their energy and involvement made us truly proud. Laxmi Teacher and I conducted the telegraphy competition, which was both interesting and engaging for the students. After announcing the names of the winners, the students were extremely excited and happy. Their smiles and joy made the moment even more special. I learned many new things today through this wonderful experience. It was a proud and joyful moment for me to see our students participate wholeheartedly and win prizes through their hard work and dedication. Thank you

 GHPS Mangalagatti  Today to participate in the 77th Republic Day celebration. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and patriotic spirit right from the morning. The day began with students creating beautiful rangoli designs, adding vibrant colors to the school premises. We also decorated the stage to prepare for the main function. Soon after, I joined the Prabhat Phiri along with students and teachers. We walked through the nearby streets, chanting patriotic slogans, spreading the spirit of unity and national pride in the community. After returning to school, the SDMC members arrived. I had the honor of performing the pooja before the flag hoisting ceremony.  It was a moment of immense pride and joy for our school to take our selected student, Basanagouda Patil, to Bengaluru for the Raman Award final competition. He participated in the event with great happiness, confidence, and enthusiasm, actively involving himself in every activity conducted there. From the 6th to the 9th, he stayed with us continuously and represented our school at the national level with dedication and excitement. Seeing a student from a government school receive such encouragement, exposure, and recognition is truly inspiring and fills our hearts with pride. This journey not only boosted his confidence but also proved that with the right support, government school students can achieve great heights.

          Under Community Development Project , a session on Family was conducted. The class began with students sharing the name of their favorite person in their family. Later, students wrote about their families in a unique and creative way. Each student then explained their family in front of the class. During this activity, many students became emotional while sharing their feelings, which showed their deep attachment and love for their families. At that moment, the importance of family values, love, care, and support was explained to the students. The session helped students understand the emotional strength of family and encouraged them to respect and value their family members.
