  1. What will I gain by doing the Yuva Fellowship
    1. You will gain necessary Knowledge & Skills to become an Excellent teacher

  1. Who can apply?

Young graduates (between 21 to 26 years old) who are willing to commit to full-time as fellow teachers for  rural school children

  1. I have given my final year exams and the  results not yet came, still can I apply?
    1. Yes, You can apply if you have attended final semester exams
  2. I completed my higher education/ PG, can I apply?
    1. Sure, If you are passionate to teach and want to be a change leader and role model in the community
  3. Where will I be placed if I get selected?
    1. Dharwad, Karnataka and teaching will be in and around Dharwad village schools
  4. Can other district candidates apply?
    1. Yes, candidates from all over Karnataka who are fluent in Kannada and English can apply.
  5. Will I be paid during Yuva Fellowship?
    1. Yes, you will get Rs.12000 as monthly stipend and Rs.1000 travel expenses
  6. Will I be trained for Yuva Fellowship-Teacher role?
    1. You will undergo one month  training in pedagogy, systemic teaching skills and classroom management. An exposure to other potential educators/education entrepreneurs in the ecosystem will also be offered.
    2. Continuous on-Job training will be provided to enable you to become an excellent teacher
  7. What is the duration of Yuva Fellowship?
    1. It is two years full-time commitment
    2. From June 2022 - May 2024.
  8. Can I get any certificate for Yuva Fellowship?
    1. You will get experience letter and appreciation certificate from Vidya Poshak
  9. Is work experience mandatory?
    1. No, any volunteer experience or teaching experience is preferable (Tution class experience also will count)
  10. What opportunity will be available to me after completion of Yuva Fellowship?
    1. The role starts as a Fellow Teacher but has a possibility for converting into excellent teacher. You can become a Teacher, Teacher trainer, Curriculum designer, Program manager and other many roles in education sector.

 

  1. How can I apply for Yuva Fellowship?
    1. Visit vidyaposhak.net
  2. What is the Deadline for submitting the application?
    1. The Final Deadline for accepting applications is April 10th, 2022. The outcome will be communicated to you within 1 week.
  3. Schools have not yet started, if I got selected how can I teach children?
    1. Selection process will be done till May mid. One month fulltime training will be given to you. After that we will place you to the school.
  4. What is the selection process?
    1. Once we shortlist the application we will inform in detail.
    2. Next round will be Writing skill & Teaching Skill
    3. Final round of interviews will be held in Dharwad
  5. What are all the skills needed for Yuva Fellowship?
    1. Communication skill, Presentation skill, Basic computer skills, research and design skills
  6. What and whom will I be teaching?
    1. You will be teaching either Science, Maths or English to Rural kannada medium middle school students
  7. What are all the documents needed to submit along with the application?
    1. You have to upload updated CV along with the application
  8. Can I send an application written copy by post?
    1. Only online application will be considered

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry The students of 5th standard participated in a creative classroom activity based on the poem “The Paper Boat” written by Rabindranath Tagore. To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.

ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕಾರಂಜಿ – ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ

 GHPS Mangalagatti ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಿಹಿ ಸಾಧನೆ  GHPS Lokur ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕಾರಂಜಿಯನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವಾರು ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.  ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಡು, ನೃತ್ಯ, ಭಜನೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ, ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಿಂಚಿದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ತಂದವು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಹುಮಾನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಳೆದ ಮುದ್ದಾದ ನಗು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯ ಗೆದ್ದಿತು.    thank you

Parents meeting

               A parents’ meeting was organized by the Vidya Poshak organization. Many parents participated in the meeting. During the meeting, parents discussed their children’s handwriting, academic progress, and learning levels with the school teachers. The objectives and activities of the Vidya Poshak organization were clearly explained by the organization’s teacher, Ms. Aishwarya. All the parents extended their cooperation and support, which helped in successfully completing the parents’ meeting.
