Community development project presentation

To establish clean and good environment in the school campus by gardening and creating awareness about hygiene

I am Sushma Appannavar working as fellow Teacher at GHPS Kurubagatti

Community development is a process where community members are supported by agencies’ to identify and take collective action on issues which are important to them. I am very happy that I have worked with such a good school have been working the project on 3 June 2022 to 20th December 2022,I feel so proud that I have given something to my community

GOAL

Setting up a library in school builds an essential habit of reading in students.

Helping students and parents to take care of their health and hygiene.

School garden is a wonderful way to utilize the schoolyard ,helps to teach students about gardening values and agriculture concepts and skills that integrated with several subjects

activities For Students

For the library, we cleaned the room and students arranged the books

Daily clean the school ground and student leaders check every child's nails ,water bottle, Etc ,

Cleaning the ground fencing and planting the saplings, protecting plants from pests

Activities For Teachers

Choosing the leaders for class wise, Distributing library books to 5th, 6th and 7th standard students taking a book reflection cycle.

Activities For Parents
- All parents involved in the hygiene related baseline and end line
- They follow-up all actions what I said in house visit

Way Forward

In my school our Co-Teachers will continue to taking actions on hygiene maintaining with students and gave some information about hygiene in parents meeting

Co-teachers continue to give library book to students for reading also take reflection circle on their books to students

SDMC members and school teachers and students are continue the garden in school by gardening different plants,

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry The students of 5th standard participated in a creative classroom activity based on the poem “The Paper Boat” written by Rabindranath Tagore. To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.

ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕಾರಂಜಿ – ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ

GHPS Mangalagatti ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಿಹಿ ಸಾಧನೆ GHPS Lokur ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕಾರಂಜಿಯನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವಾರು ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಡು, ನೃತ್ಯ, ಭಜನೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ, ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಿಂಚಿದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ತಂದವು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಹುಮಾನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಳೆದ ಮುದ್ದಾದ ನಗು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯ ಗೆದ್ದಿತು. thank you

Parents meeting

A parents’ meeting was organized by the Vidya Poshak organization. Many parents participated in the meeting. During the meeting, parents discussed their children’s handwriting, academic progress, and learning levels with the school teachers. The objectives and activities of the Vidya Poshak organization were clearly explained by the organization’s teacher, Ms. Aishwarya. All the parents extended their cooperation and support, which helped in successfully completing the parents’ meeting.
