International Yoga day is celebrated on June 21st every year across the world. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. This year marks the 10th International Day of Yoga with the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.” Yoga, a transformative practice, represents the harmony of mind and body, the balance between thought and action, and the unity of restraint and fulfillment. Today we celebrated the International Yoga day in our school. We went to school at 7.30am. First we clean the ground and did the prayer and told about Yoga day and its importance. After that all students and teachers did the yoga. We all did the sitting exercise, standing exercise and pranayama. By this students got to know about benefits of yoga. After that our students again attended the yoga session conducted by E Vidyaloka.
Children’s Day Celebration at GHPS Lokur On 14th November, we joyfully celebrated Children’s Day at GHPS Lokur. The entire school campus was filled with excitement, laughter, and a festive spirit as our students gathered to honor this special day dedicated to childhood and learning. We began the celebration with a pooja for Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, lovingly known as Chacha Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day across the country. His deep affection for children and his vision for education continue to inspire us even today.
