Children’s Day Celebration at GHPS Lokur

Children’s Day Celebration at GHPS Lokur

On 14th November, we joyfully celebrated Children’s Day at GHPS Lokur. The entire school campus was filled with excitement, laughter, and a festive spirit as our students gathered to honor this special day dedicated to childhood and learning.

We began the celebration with a pooja for Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, lovingly known as Chacha Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day across the country. His deep affection for children and his vision for education continue to inspire us even today.

After the pooja, our Headmaster addressed the students, speaking about the importance of Children’s Day and encouraging the children to dream big and work hard. His words were meaningful and motivating for everyone present.

Our students then presented beautiful songs, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. Their sweet voices created a cheerful atmosphere and filled everyone’s hearts with happiness.

To make the day even more memorable, we organized fun games and activities for all the students. Every child took part with great excitement, enjoying each moment with laughter and friendly competition. Later, we distributed prizes to the winners of the Children’s Day competitions, appreciating their efforts and achievements.

For me, the day was special in another way—it brought back my own school memories. Watching the children play, sing, and smile reminded me of my childhood days and the joy of being a student. I also took some lovely photographs with my students, which will always remain as beautiful memories.

Overall, the celebration was filled with happiness, learning, and togetherness. It was a truly memorable Children’s Day at GHPS Lokur.

Thank you!
