Community Engagement Activity with Students

As per the guidelines of Mission Prakruti – 3rd Milestone, an environmental audit was carried out at both the school and community levels. In alignment with this objective, students undertook a community visit to Holtikoti village to observe the prevailing environmental conditions.

During the visit, students systematically observed the surroundings and collected relevant data on activities and practices that are harmful to the environment. They also identified feasible and practical solutions to address these issues. The focus of the activity was to promote awareness and encourage collective responsibility towards building a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.

This community-based learning experience helped students develop environmental awareness, observation skills, and a sense of social responsibility.

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry

Paper Boat – An Activity Based on Poetry The students of 5th standard participated in a creative classroom activity based on the poem “The Paper Boat” written by Rabindranath Tagore. To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.

Parents meeting

A parents’ meeting was organized by the Vidya Poshak organization. Many parents participated in the meeting. During the meeting, parents discussed their children’s handwriting, academic progress, and learning levels with the school teachers. The objectives and activities of the Vidya Poshak organization were clearly explained by the organization’s teacher, Ms. Aishwarya. All the parents extended their cooperation and support, which helped in successfully completing the parents’ meeting.

ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕಾರಂಜಿ – ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ

GHPS Mangalagatti ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಿಹಿ ಸಾಧನೆ GHPS Lokur ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕಾರಂಜಿಯನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವಾರು ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಡು, ನೃತ್ಯ, ಭಜನೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ, ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಿಂಚಿದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ತಂದವು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಹುಮಾನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಳೆದ ಮುದ್ದಾದ ನಗು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯ ಗೆದ್ದಿತು. thank you
