CD Session Understanding Naming Words
A CD session was conducted for combined 6th and 7th standard students on the topic “Naming Words (Nouns)” to strengthen their basic grammar skills.
The students were divided into groups of six members each. Clear instructions were given at the beginning of the session. The concept of naming words was explained, along with simple definitions and examples. Students were guided to identify nouns under the categories of Person, Place, Things, and Animals.
As a group activity, students drew examples related to each category. Each group then presented their work one by one, explaining their drawings confidently. The activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and active participation.
The session was interactive and effective, and students showed a good understanding of the concept. Overall, the CD session helped make learning grammar simple, engaging, and meaningful.
