Home Visits: Connecting with Parents for Student Success 😊😊

Home Visits: Engaging with Parents for Student Growth in  GHPS Lokur  School

On 17 th December 2025 , I had the opportunity to visit six homes as part of my educational outreach. At each house, I first introduced myself and then explained about Vidya Poshak, the initiative I am representing. My main goal was to discuss the progress and learning of their children and to engage parents in their academic journey.

During these visits, I noticed a variety of responses from parents. Many of them were supportive and appreciative, showing genuine interest in their children’s learning. However, a few parents were less responsive, which gave me insight into the challenges some students may face at home.

Overall, the experience was very enriching. It allowed me to connect with parents personally, understand their perspectives, and encourage them to take an active role in their children’s education. Such visits are valuable in building trust and fostering a supportive learning environment for students.

Today's home visits were not just informative but also a meaningful experience that strengthened my understanding of community engagement in education.

Thank you, 😊😊

To understand the poem better, students made paper boats using their own unique ideas. On this day, Mr. Vijay visited the class and observed the session. He appreciated the students’ creativity and the innovative paper boats they had made. The poem was explained in Kannada, which helped the students clearly understand its meaning. The students enjoyed the activity and showed great interest in the lesson. The session made learning joyful, creative, and meaningful.

Sometimes, a new beginning starts quietly, with a calm mind, a hopeful heart, and the courage to move forward.New beginnings are like the early morning sun. Soft, gentle, and full of possibilities. They remind us that yesterday’s worries do not have the power to control today. Each day offers a fresh page, waiting for us to write our story with positivity and purpose.Good vibes are not about pretending life is perfect. A smile, a kind thought, a small effort — these little things slowly transform our days into beautiful memories.Happy days begin when we decide to let go of what weighs us down. Forgiving ourselves, learning from mistakes, and trus...
