In this week, I had the pleasure of teaching the beautiful poem Paper Boats to my students. First I introduced about the great poet Rabindranath Tagore. Students recalled him as a writer of our national anthem. Later we explored the meaning behind the poem, discussing the dreams represented by paper boats. after that I guided the students in making their own paper boats. Watching their faces light up as they folded the paper with care. Also they wrote their name and their village name on the paper boat. The class went wonderfully, with the students fully engaged in the creative activity.
Children’s Day Celebration at GHPS Lokur On 14th November, we joyfully celebrated Children’s Day at GHPS Lokur. The entire school campus was filled with excitement, laughter, and a festive spirit as our students gathered to honor this special day dedicated to childhood and learning. We began the celebration with a pooja for Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, lovingly known as Chacha Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day across the country. His deep affection for children and his vision for education continue to inspire us even today. After the pooja, our Headmaster addressed the students, speaking about the importance of Children’s Day and encouraging the children to dream big and work hard.
