Teacher's training at Siddapur


 

                                                       On 2nd January we attended the Teacher’s training program held at Shree Sringeri Shankar math Siddapur. All government school teachers of Siddapur taluk attended this workshop. The first session was conducted by  Mahesh Masal Sir, a renowned Human Mindset Coach. From this session we got to know about strategies to improve classroom engagement and student performance. Also he  taught the importance of having a growth mindset for effective teaching. He highlighted the teacher’s roles and responsibilities in shaping the student’s future. One of the key takeaways from this session was the importance of self-confidence. Mahesh Sir encouraged teachers to believe in their own abilities and to continuously motivate themselves to perform better. He also discussed how teachers can motivate their students by creating an inspiring environment in the classroom, using praise and encouragement. He also highlighted that teachers should love their profession and teachers should be Available, Approachable and Lovable. As a teacher we should invest time and money for our self improvement. Totally the session was highly motivated.

                                                         The 2nd session was conducted by Dr. Ravindra sir who is a board member of Rajalaxmi foundation and Vidyaposhak. He took sessions on tools and techniques in teaching Science and Math. He taught about how to bring the student’s interest in learning through his own experiences. He said that we focus on learning rather than results. He said that we have to give the problems to the students and let them find the solutions. He gave us a problem during the session. It was very interesting.

Parents meeting

               A parents’ meeting was organized by the Vidya Poshak organization. Many parents participated in the meeting. During the meeting, parents discussed their children’s handwriting, academic progress, and learning levels with the school teachers. The objectives and activities of the Vidya Poshak organization were clearly explained by the organization’s teacher, Ms. Aishwarya. All the parents extended their cooperation and support, which helped in successfully completing the parents’ meeting.
